Giving nature a chance

This poorly little kestrel was admitted during the cold spell in January, having been found with it's wing quite literally frozen to a wall.
Gently warmed up slowly in one of the incubators, she was able to take a small amount of finely chopped food later in the day, and has made steady progress ever since.
It is hoped she will soon be fit to return to the wild, once the weather breaks and we have some sustained warmer weather.
