I am pleased to report that we have now switched provider for the Helpline, received our new handset, and I will be busy over the next few evenings getting used to it! Certainly I can report that the phone signal has been much improved since leaving O2 when around the Home Reserve, and I hope to see that replicated on the other reserves and wildlife rescues, where I have struggled to get a signal in recent months.
The only downside I have found is a much shorter voicemail facility - but with our website being so comprehensive with advice, then I will have to tailor the answerphone message to suit the time allowed.
Thank you for bearing with us whilst we got this important part of our work sorted out.
